Have you ever found yourself feeling really down and upset about situations you can’t change? Or feeling like you aren’t in control of your own life or future? That decisions are being made for you and you just kinda go along with it? Maybe you aren’t trying your best and are just complacent with your results and outcomes?
Now think about when you’re in a really great and positive mood, how productive you are and enjoying life. You see the results you want faster and enjoy them more, work is less of a chore and more enjoyable, and you feel better about yourself as a whole. People around you notice this and comment on your vibes!
This is all your mindset. When you’re not having a good day, don’t dwell on whats happened but think of an upcoming event or past event that brings you joy. Compliment a stranger and notice how doing this can shift your mood slightly. Drink water and go for a walk, this will naturally improve your mood through nourishing your body and the endorphin’s this can create.
Create a work and events plan for the upcoming week and try your best to stick to this, this will help to stop you from falling behind on any work and will help to bring more control to your life. It’s okay to have a bad day and not be very productive sometimes. Everyday is a new day to start again. Work towards your goals and create small goals towards reaching this final one, the end goal or task may seem a lot less daunting and more achievable through the smaller steps.
Don’t let one bad event or day control your mood, change your mindset and see the difference it could make to you!
