‘A new life‘ that cliche cheers friends and family make when starting out in a new job, buying their first home, or finally getting over that toxic relationship they stayed in for too long.
Often we think of this with a ‘nothing can go wrong attitude’, now that’s great, having a positive attitude towards your life will encourage positive things to happen to you but does that mean we should forget what happened to us before altogether? Ok, yes that other classic saying ‘When one door closes, another door opens’ is true and is often what people refer to. But when walking into this new chapter of our lives do we ever stop and reflect on what has happened and how it has changed us as a person? Or if similar situations were to arrive again what would we do differently?
I will admit, I have said this a few times in the past, even quite recently and have used it as a reason to celebrate. Let me tell you a little more about why I have done this. About a month ago now I left my full time job as an apprentice mechanic *gasp a girl in the workshop?!?* to concentrate on me. I was free to study for my degree all day and go back to the gym full time, making myself happier and enjoy life again while I work on myself and my future.
So here we are; a new chapter in my life, new adventures, friends, work and the start of Sophieexoxs!
Until next time,
